These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mytreatment dds application and related services (collectively, the “Application”), owned and operated by expedite dds, llc (“company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), accessible via www.expeditedds.com and its associated mobile and web platforms.

By accessing or using this Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this Application.

Users under 18 years of age are not permitted to use this Application.

Intellectual Property Rights

Except for content you own, expedite dds and/or its licensors retain all rights to the Application, including software, design, content, and functionality.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for lawful purposes within your dental or healthcare practice.

Use Restrictions

You may not:

• Republish or reproduce Application materials in any media.

• Sell, sublicense, or commercialize Application materials.

• Publicly perform or display Application materials without authorization.

• Use the Application in a manner that damages or impairs its functionality.

• Violate applicable laws or regulations while using the Application.

• Engage in unauthorized data scraping, mining, or reverse engineering.

• Use the Application for unsolicited advertising or spam.

• Circumvent security features or access controls.

• We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms.

HIPAA Compliance and Data Privacy

expedite dds is committed to safeguarding all information processed through mytreatment dds and is designed to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and related regulations.

We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect electronic protected health information (ePHI), including:

• Encryption of data in transit and at rest

• Role-based access and secure user authentication

• Audit logging and monitoring

• Staff training and regular security assessments

Your Responsibilities:

You are responsible for ensuring your own compliance with HIPAA and professional privacy standards. Do not upload or share protected health information (PHI) outside the secure, authorized features of this Application.

AI-Assisted Tools

mytreatment dds includes artificial intelligence (AI) features designed solely to assist dental professionals in creating and managing treatment plans. These tools may:

• Convert dictated speech to text

• Generate draft treatment narratives based on your input

• Suggest possible procedural codes or follow-up inquiries

Important:

• The AI does not diagnose, recommend, or approve treatment.

• The AI only organizes information based on the user’s input.

• All AI-generated outputs are drafts that must be reviewed and approved by a licensed dentist or treatment coordinator.

• Accuracy depends entirely on the completeness and correctness of the information provided by the user.

Transparency:

• You may see AI-related labels such as “AI-generated draft” or “Suggested Narrative.”

• These features exist only to improve workflow — they are not a substitute for professional judgment.

Data Use for AI Features:

AI tools may process your input to generate text outputs. These are stored securely and may be used in de-identified, aggregated form to improve system performance in compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations.

Clinical Responsibility Acknowledgment

By using mytreatment dds, you acknowledge and agree that:

• All treatment decisions and recommendations are made solely by licensed dental professionals.

• AI tools are for administrative and organizational support only.

• You are responsible for verifying and approving all AI-generated content before use.

• expedite dds does not provide medical or dental advice.

• expedite dds is not liable for any inaccuracies, omissions, or errors in AI-generated or transcribed content.

• Your use of this Application affirms your responsibility for ensuring the accuracy, appropriateness, and safety of any treatment plan.

Your Content

“Your Content” refers to any text, audio, video, images, or other materials you upload to the Application.

By submitting Your Content, you grant expedite dds a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, process, and display it solely for operating and improving the Application.

You represent that Your Content does not violate the rights of others or any applicable law. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

No Warranties

The Application, including AI-powered tools, is provided “as is” and “as available.” expedite dds makes no warranties or representations about:

• The accuracy or reliability of AI-generated data or transcriptions

• The suitability of the Application for any particular purpose

• The uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Application

• Nothing in this Application constitutes medical, dental, or legal advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, expedite dds and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Errors or omissions in AI-generated or transcribed data

• Any actions taken in reliance on Application outputs

• You bear full responsibility for reviewing and verifying all generated content prior to use.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless expedite dds, its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors against any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• Your breach of these Terms

• Misuse of the Application or AI features

• Violation of laws or regulations

• Disclosure or misuse of patient information

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Revisions

expedite dds may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted within the Application. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Assignment

expedite dds may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms without notice. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and expedite dds concerning the use of mytreatment dds and supersede all prior understandings.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Shelby County, Tennessee, for any disputes arising from or related to these Terms.
